It is hard to believe that we are in our final week before our December break. I know many families are enjoying some family / holiday time together in the days / weeks to come. I hope you all find some well deserved relaxation/.Trimester 1 has officially closed and report cards come home today with your child. It is important for you to review these grades with your child celebrating their successes and setting goals in areas for improvement. Having a growth mindset has been a topic of conversation in fourth grade this year. It is important for students to understand that hard work and persistence can help any of us achieve whatever we put our mind to.
Please know that their report card should stay home, yet the envelope needs to be signed and returned to school. Please reach out if you have any questions / concerns.
On another note, a concert form from our music teacher come home today. Although the due date is January 5th, we discussed that it would be best / easier if the students were to return it to school this week.
Lastly, our SNOWFLAKE FESTIVAL is this Friday morning. As of this point I have 3 parents confirmed to assist. It would be great if a few more were able to assist. If you believe you are available between 9:15 and 11:15, please let me know.
